Along with the many natural wonders, the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve designated by UNESCO in 2004, is an area of 347,000 hectares that stretches 200 km along the eastern coast from Port Severn to the French River, the world’s largest freshwater archipelago, also known as the 30,000 Islands, and it starts just across the street from our Marina!
We can’t forget to mention the great fishing at Port Severn, famous for our Monster bass and Northern pike with some of the best Muskie Fishing in Canada, or travel a short trip through the locks and have a go at the tournament size Salmon, Lake Trout and Walleye in Georgian bay.
